Title: "Gnist" (Spark )

Employer: NAV Rygge, represented by Åse Danbolt, interior designer, Venche Sandstad, convener and Knut Førland (FØRCO), builder.
Purpose: The clients wanted to decorate the personal entrance of the building (Ekholt Route 114, Rygge).
It was important for them to break what could be perceived as monotonous, in a spacious and very stylish staircase. Moreover, they wanted the commission to provide an encouraging and positive start to the day for those who use the entrance, and that the decoration could be seen from the outside and the road.
They wanted the work assembled for the official opening of the building, 16 October 2009.
Materials: The décor is made in oil on aluminum. Aluminum was chosen because the material is not very sensitive to the changes in humidity, which can occur in an entrance area. |
